Dan Sumption is a professional photographer and artist working with the photographic image. He is currently seeking UK gallery exhibitions, and is also available for hire to document events, cover news stories or take your portrait. Based in Sheffield and London, he is able to travel throughout Britain for assignments.

He is a specialist in event and documentary coverage, in particular live music and other night-time events (including party, festival, burlesque and cabaret performance, theatre and arts reportage), and also movie stills photography.

He uses a range of professional digital and film equipment, choosing Canon EOS digital cameras for most location work.

He is a published writer, and his skill with words, photographs and a video camera make him a versatile photojournalist. He is co-publisher of FAD magazine.

He also has ten years experience in designing and developing websites, and is able to offer a full consultancy, design and build service through www.markanddan.com (who also publish the blog Creative Strategies for Web2.0).
